这首歌原为美国诗作，诗名为「Do not stand at my grave and weep」。歌词的概念是死者安慰活者，说我并没有死，而是化为千万的风吹着，同时这首歌也是是日本声乐家秋川雅史于2006年5月24日发行的单曲，秋川雅史演唱此曲后，不但让秋川雅史一夕爆红，这首歌也立刻广为人知且大受欢迎。
