这是英国老牌器乐摇滚乐队The Shadows 的演奏版，而Dana Winner 的版本因其美妙的声线而广为流传。

据说，这首1983年问世的曲子原是为纪念甲克虫乐队(The Beatles)被枪杀的主唱约翰·列侬(John Lennon)而作。1980年12月8日，马克·查普曼伪装成一个歌迷，在列侬的公寓旁边徘徊了很久。那天晚上，当列侬从录音棚返回家中的时候，查普曼请列侬在他的签字本上签名。当时他内心曾进行过激烈的斗争，但最后仍然举起手枪朝着列侬的后背连开了5枪。
